How much do disney postcards on property cost? Just trying to get a general idea of how much they will cost. Is there a place at DTD that you can send them from? Thanks for any help. :goodvibes

Can't answer your specific question, but we purchased them at one of the t-shirt shops just outside of WDW 10 for $1 or something like that. DS wanted to take all of his classmates a gift. There are usually mail slots in all of the resorts, gift shops, etc...to mail them.

I figured they were cheaper outside the parks. I think we are spending our first day at DTD and wanted to get it taken care of then. I thought there use to be a place there to send them, but it's been 3 years and I can't remember 3 hours ago. :teeth:

All of the postcards that I saw in the parks were ~$2. :earseek: You can mail them at lots of locations including your resort and the parks I believe.

I remember that they had postcards of various prices. It seemed that the standard rectagular shaped ones were cheaper than the ones that are "shaped". I think those were about $2.00.

Yes, yes, yes! Go to DTD & get off @ the first DTD bus stop, Marketplace I think, after you get off the bus, you are walking up to the water play area for kids, like pop up jets. The first store on the right hand side is where you get the Tink postage. It is the only place in the world you can get the postmark, so said the CM that checked us out.
Now for the cost... I got seven post cards & had them "Tinked" for I think under $7.00. (These were for the kids I promissed on the "Pay it Forward")
These cards were basic, but still very WDW & nice.
I then got really nice postcards to send to us @ home. They are the hologram kind, that have a differnt image depending on which angle you look at/hold the card, anywho they were under $8.00 for three & I had those "Tinked" as well. DD is 2 & when we got home they were in the mail & she thought it was so great to see her "frinds" (friends) again. This will be a must do each trip for us now. Also the CM said these were collecters items as only about 1/6th of the folks that attend WDW per year know about the special Tink postage. And another fun note... in this store behind the counter there is a dry erase board with all the states & a several countries on it & each day they start a new stroke tally for the day. You are allowed to put up 1 stroke per person in you party, they do not have to be with you @ the time for them to be counted. We were there in the evening around 5:30 and then again around 9:45 & it was neat to see were folks were from & how much some areas jumped in count in a few hours. Just some neat fun free entertainment.

Thank you so much. I was wondering where you might get a special postmark. I will be sure to look for this. :goodvibes

They can range anywhere from 50 cents to $5.00, just depending on the size, style or if it's in a pack of 12.
