There have been a lot of posts about how much most of us hate the Nescafe coffee which is offered at the resorts. I guess disney has a contract with Nescafe so that's what is offered. Well, after checking online I have found that Nescafe has other kinds of coffee... including gourmet beans. So disney.. if you have to stick with Nescafe then please switch to something that the public will enjoy!

I'm not sure the Nescafe that Disney serves even qualifies as coffee ... sometimes I think they're serving us Postum instead. :lmao:

What humors me is how consistently awful it is everwhere. The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland, on the MAGIC off the coast of Italy or the Bahamans or passing through the Panama Canal. On the Wonder. It is served at their deluxe resorts like the Grand Floridian and counter service at the Animal Kingdom. You can't get away from it unless you can find a rare expresso bar/cafe.

It tastes EXACTLY the same at all these places. I sometimes tried to think they had to do it because of volume, but surely Nestle and Disney could come up with something that is actually brewed rather than a pseudo-paste concentrate that is dissolved in hot water.

:lmao: so funny!
They do need to improve on the coffee.

It's amazing that with all the new coffee brands around, they stick with this company.
Or, for that matter, Nescafe doesn't make better coffee. I certainly wouldn't run out and buy it at home after tasting what they serve there now.

When I was planning my trip i was wondering why so many people were talking about different ways of brewing their own in their rooms. Some go as far as stopping at Target to buy a new coffee maker. After my trip in Dec. I now know why. It was so gross I just decided to not drink it and that is coming from someone who drinks at least 4 cups in the morning! I hope they find a way to change it, because it is undrinkable.:)

OMG I AGREE I AGREE I AGREE  THE COFFEE IS THE WORST ON THE PLANET. I am so glad others feel my pain!

It's not even just the coffee that tasted bad. The awful creamers were disgusting. Why don't they have a real half and half machine. I did drink the coffee each day anyway. Good thing I had the cute mug. It must taste worse from a paper cup!

I will say that at Crystal Palace, one rainy morning, it was really good. They had real cream, so that helped, but still it was quite tasty!

We call it Nescacrap...without a doubt the worse coffee I could imagine.

I say if Disney wants you to spend your money in the parks early in the morning, bad coffee is not the way to do it.:lmao: I always pack a lb. of Dunkin Donuts coffee and buy cream to have when we get there.

Don't hold your breath. Nestle makes Nescafe and well they sponsor Epcot :lmao:

It wont be changing anytime soon no matter how much we complain.
I tried to coomplain many times and that is the bottom line

Sorry....did some more research and it looks like Nestle doesn't carry the whole bean line anymore! Disney-- there has to be another Nestle coffee product which will make us happy. Help!

I'm sure Disney would love to change their brand of coffee if another company came along and offered Disney a better deal than Nescafe/Nestle is offering them now.

Oh I could totally hop on this bandwagon. :) As a matter of fact, I will help drive.

Because we know that they serve coffee scented mud in WDW, we ship a cheap 4-cup coffee maker there ahead of time (and leave it at the front desk for somebody else when we leave) along with starbucks grounds, filters, splenda and some flavor powdered creamer that we can mix with milk.

My brother who is going with us next time will not leave his resort without his coffee and he is VERY picky. I guess we will be having coffee together in the morning. :teeth:

While I prefer my Starbucks and tolerate Dunkin Donuts coffee, I find the coffee at WDW as fine. I don't think its the best, but I need my coffee in the morning and I find that WDW's coffee is good. I actually enjoy that first coffee so much I almost always have a second. In fact I buy the resort mug for that reason.
I can understand why so many of you have a differing opinion than mine on coffee. Coffee is an aquired taste that is not only influenced by the availabilty, regions and dining habits, but also perceptions. I recently read that the top selling take out coffee is McDonalds, not Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts (this is a fact stated in USA Today over the summer). IMHO McDonalds is the absolute worst coffee. I would have to be dying of thirst to drink that dreck! If I had to guess I would have been totally wrong. Then I found out why, simply stated McDonalds serves more people each day than the other two combined. It doesn't have to be great or good, it just has to be passable. So I doubt WDW will offer gourmet roasted coffee - unless they can make a bigger buck out of it.

It is the worst coffee ever.:scared: I looked up all of the Dunkin Donuts locations before our last trip. I didn't go every morning, but I had to go a few times just to get some real coffee.

I was excited to find a pretty decent cup of iced coffee in AK near the Safari ride. I'm sure it was loaded down with lots of cream & sugar, but it was the best that I have found inside Disney.
