Just another reason you SHOULD NOT buy pin lots on Ebay!

I wish I knew this guy's ebay name so we could see how many positive reviews he had..

Scrappers are not easy to identify if you are a new trader.
You can join a pin trading forum like www.disneypinforum.com to buy from reputable traders/sellers. Or www.pintalk.com too.
Please do the pin trading community a favor and spend a little bit more on pins that are more likely to be original Disney pins.

Specifically, pin lots and hidden mickeys are known to be scrappers. You may be safer with individual pins on Ebay but check www.pinpics.com to see if there are any *scrapper alerts* for the pins you are looking to purchase.

I bought Disney pins on E-bay for about 10 years but stopped a couple of years ago. It was getting too difficult to weed out the bad pins and most of my reputable sellers stopped selling on E-bay. Luckily, a few of my favorite former E-bay sellers have websites and I order from them.

Just fyi, there's a whole thread on this subject on the Collector's Board at the bottom of the main page. :)

I have to say...I'm REALLY happy to see that they arrested and charged these guys!!!!
