What do you do with your pins once home? We have 2 lanyards full of pins but I don't really want to hang them somewhere nor do I want to store them in a closet. I heard someone put their pins in a notebook, but how do you do that? Or, what other creative ideas do you have?

If you have the card backs from some pins you can buy baseball card page holders for notebooks (from hobby stores etc.) and slide them into these holders. In lieu of card backs you can cut thin foam from craft stores. I did that for awhile before I started saving my card backs. I find I like my zipper case notebooks for long-term pin storage best but then I have more than 2000 pins from the 1999 - 2003 era plus a few from each trip since.

Plastic baseball card pages are definitely the way to go; inexpensive and easy to view your keeper pin collection. I did have several sets of pins mounted and framed to eventually hang in a room in our "forever" house someday!

You can also ask this question and research over in the Disney Collectors Board here at DIS.

I bought a disney pin notebook from the disney store and keep them in there, but you could probably make one fairly easily.

I have a friend who buys foam board, cuts it into disney shapes, ie castle, mickey head, crown, etc and sticks the pins in them and then hangs them on her walls.
