Nice shot, Jeff, and one of us is a copycat; I have one (maybe two!) just like that, from last week! BTW, mine were from MGM and I spend a lot of time doing what Mickey is doing...studying the MGM map in an attempt to navigate. Despite the smaller size, I find MGM to be a confusing place to find my way around.

Those are really nice Fantamic! shots. I'm guessing you must've had excellent seats. Last week, we were a few rows back from the front, but no the very far left (and I consider myself an extreme right-winger!) of the amphitheatre...not the best place for photographing the show, to say the least.

I was actually in the last row (handicapped section) with my 70-300 lens & as you know, luck had more to do with it than the planning.

Thanks- I agree. I think we spent 20 minutes walking around in circles looking just like that trying to find the Sci-Fi Drive In and then when I found it that sign was right out front.

Out of curiosity, how did you meter? I switched to spot and got decent results, from an exposure POV.
