Just thought id share some info with anyone who would like to know...

Im getting married in October at Celebration. I would LOVE some photos taken at Disneyworld in my dress....

So I posted a new thread on here last week asking if anybody would know how I would do this, I was told that if I werent having a Disney Wedding, I wouldnt be able to have my photos taken in the park :sad2:

I decided to contact Disney directly and ask them about this. I was told that Magic Kingdom photos are for DFTW only but that I could have my photos taken in any other park that I wished!!

I am now booked to have some taken in Epcot 2 days after my wedding so yay, I get to wear my dress again :yay:

If I had taken the advice and not contacted Disney, I wouldnt have known about this and would have regretted it for a looooooong time........so just a note to say, always double check....im glad I did........:cheer2:

OMG! Really??? :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

I'm a non-disney VR- we're doing ours at Discovery cove. I had planned to do an epcot honeymoon shoot- but had NO idea I could do a wedding shoot there- or AK? THat would be awesome!! Could you please tell me the number that you called to book this???
Thank you so much!!!

Wow that's great news for you!! I didn't realize you could wear your wedding attire for an Epcot photo shoot if you were having an outside wedding.

Thanks every1....yeh its FAB news!!:thumbsup2

The number I called was (407) 827-5099 which is the Disney Photographic Services....the lady I spoke to was very nice and very helpful and emailed the confirmation right away!!

Yes you can have either Epcot, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios! I was very happy to find out as Im sure you can imagine. They do the shoot at either 7.15 a.m or 9.15 a.m. They collect you from any Disney resort (we are not staying at a Disney Resort but they will still meet there) and take you across to the Park, you have a 1 hour shoot, loads of pics and they have said they will even get my album to me before I leave Orlando a week later!!

So I am VERY excited......It might sound OTT but it has completed my wedding perfectly!

I believe the cost varies depending on which park, I think Epcot is more expensive than the other 2 parks but dont know exactly how much the other two are...

Epcot has cost us $650 plus tax, which gives an hour photo shoot, 12 pics 6x4 in an album, website for 3 months with all the pics taken on (they take between 60 and 80) and I believe a CD with all pics on too.

You can then add more pics onto the package if you wish and choose different size pics etc all for an added cost!

Will make a beautiful memory and stunning pictures that will last forever! :tink:

That's fantastic, my DF and I are scheduled for the Epcot honeymoon shoot, but I will have to run this by him! :thumbsup2

You'll have to share the pics once you get back!

Thanks everyone!

Cant wait to share the pics with you all! :goodvibes

I think this is a great way to get all brides involved!

I do not think you get the CD. The CD is $1,000 extra. You get one print of each shot they take and a small album with 12 pictures in it.

We were given a choice of either the CD or the print out of each shot. We were advised that as the CD is high res, it may be better for us.

Our confirmation states that our price includes the CD and a small album of 12 shots! :woohoo:

This option is generally only available to couples who live outside North America. North American couples have to pay something for the disc of images even if they substitute it for the prints. :thumbsup2

This is correct, we're getting the CD included in our package, but I believe we get less actual photos or a smaller album or something.....
