Just wanted to let everyone know that I just received my Disney Photomovie from UPS today. My kids and I watched it the minute it arrived! I absolutely loved it, and the kids did too! There were lots of special effects in the movie that were not shown when I was making the movie online. The Disney music is a big plus, as well as the characters showing up in various places during the movie. I was a little leary when I found the price was $49.95, but went ahead and got it anyway. I am sure glad I did. I am doing a scrapbook also, but now I have a great way to look at my pictures on our TV with our DVD player. Also is nice to have the pictures somewhere else in case something were to ever happen to my scrapbook. Just wanted to let everyone know in case anyone was wanting to order the Disney Photomovie. My advice would be to definitely get one!!! :sunny:

Never heard of Disney Photomovie, on what specific website did you order that from?

I guess it is a new thing that Disney is doing, because I mentioned it to some of my friends, and they had never heard anything about it either. Here is the link to the site where you can put a Disney movie together with pictures from Disney Photopass or upload your own photos from your digital camera. It is really cool!!!

Hope this helps!!! :)

How many photos were you able to actually put on there? Was it easy to do? thanks for sharing your experience. It looks really cool but add another $50 onto your trip just for that, makes me wonder if it is worth it.
Thanks again

This looks really neat! How many photos did you include? Did you use both your photos and photopass or just your own photos?

Thanks for the information. I went to the site and it looks great!
I'm definitely doing this when we get back from our August vacation.

I only used my digital photos, and I think I used 116(the total amount allowed). I had enough pictures just to use my own, and not the photopass ones.

Wow. I love this. I really need to try to start a photo alblum. I am one of those that has all my pictures in bags unorganized. This is a way to really put things together nicely. Thanks for posting.

Hi!
My girlfriends daughter had the movie made from our trip last October. It was so cute!! I'm definitely going to buy it after my August trip this year, since I'll have my DD and DGD 3 1/2 with me. I know my DGD will love it. I think it's so worth the $50. I hope the price stays the same as I thought that was an introductory price and eventually is supposed to cost around $100.00.

WOW! It is going to cost $100? I am not sure I would pay that much for it. $50.00, OK, but not $100!!! Good thing I bought it when I did! My husband watched it with us last night, and he thought it was nice too!

Thanks for the info. Finally someone who has done this. I posted on this months ago and no one knew what I was talking about. I am glad that you felt it was the worth the money. My question is where did you get this done at? How did it take to get set up? How long till you got it? Thanks. Tamra :)

If you look at one of my earlier posts here, there is a link to the Disney PhotoMovie website. It is extremely simple! Just upload your digital photos or use the Photopass ones and you can put the pictures into chapters(Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc.). It doesn't take more than a half hour or so. I think I ordered it at the end of last week(like Thursday or Friday) and I received it this week on Tuesday. Not long at all!

This is totally awesome! I am so glad I'm browsing the DIS this evening or I probably wouldn't have found out about this in time. Now I can add it into the Disney budget for August. Thanks for sharing!

This looks really great. Thanks for sharing!!! Does anyone know when the introductory rate may end? I am definatley going to put the money aside to do this when we return from our trip in August. party:

WOW that looks so cool !!!!

I can't wait to get one!

I wonder if I should do one now from our last October trip & then do another this October.....hmmmmmm
