Hello all,

Was wondering if anyone might know how long after the Wedding/Portrait Session would Disney Photography keep/hold(in their system) onto the photos?

Also, is it still the same as it used to be:the longer you wait for the Portrait Session disc/cd the less expensive it gets? If so, how long would I have to wait?

They hold onto the photos for 5 years, but it's worth checking anyway if it's been a little longer. The archival disc is not a screaming deal if you wait 3 years anymore (it used to be $100). The price drops to $500 three years from the date of the wedding.

What is the cost of the HD disk if you buy it at the time of your wedding?

Lurkyloo,

You are amazing. Once again.

LOL! This is the kind of info that takes up the space in my brain where people's names should go! :rotfl:

Wow, I hadn't seen the prices in a while. That makes the cheapest version of the shoot $1800!! ($1500 + $300) And that's only if you're an Escape bride. In less than 5 years that's double the $900 ($800 for the shoot, and $100 for the disk) mine was. I know Disney enjoys raising prices, but good grief!

Does anyone know if you can give up prints for the disc on a Wishes shoot? Or is that only for Escape brides?

For Escape they are giving up all the prints from their wedding, not just the MK shoot. With Wishes, you would need to be using Disney Photography for your wedding in order to negotiate the disc in exchange for prints. Each element of Disney's standard photo packages has a dollar amount that would be applied toward the cost of a hi-res/archival disc if you gave that element up.
