Well I am definitely using Disney photography since I want to keep everything within the budget of the minimum expenditure. So I was wondering about how much everyone spent for it? And what they got as a result? Also, can you add the engagement/honeymoon package (the $310 one) to your cd? How much is the cd?

I have to be honest I wanted to use ONLY Disney! That was intill I got my BEO's for floral and regular. And the photography was way more then what we were looking to spend for pictures it was $3650.00!!!! Yes, that was the most expensive one but still that's alot of money for pictures. So that's when I decided that Disney wasn't only more expensive then other places but why not use the other people if we could. So we booked Randy Chapman with Chapman Photography, I love his work and he's saving us over $2000.00! So you might want to check him out and you can use him for escape or wishes I'm not sure which one your having. So you might wanna look at you options. Oh and the cd is an extra $1000 I think.

Disney's photography packages range from $5,225 for the whole shebang (except hi-resolution images on disc - the disc included in the package only has low-res prints) to $1,700 for a bare-bones, three-hour package. The disc of high-resolution digital images is $1,000.

Is there a 6 or 8 hour package that is the cd only? I don't need prints. I can print them on my own, but I need the cd. It's a requirement for me, and photography is becoming 1/2 my budget and it's starting to get to me.

thanks

So far, no, but I would definitely talk to them about it. It could be that they would be willing to customize a package for you.

They seem to be aware of the growing popularity of getting the images on disc and printing your own pix, since they introduced a disc-only option for Escape weddings.

Does anyone know if there's a difference in the high-res DVD and the CD? I was offered a DVD but not a CD... Just want to make sure I'd be getting what I think I'd be getting.

Also, does the DVD/CD come with the rights to the images?

It comes with a license for the images. so you can print them, but Disney still has the rights to them. This bothers me, but only slightly. The cd they offer is a low-res (not even 4x6 printable) and the dvd is print pretty big. dvd seems to be the norm there days to get the images since there are so many.
