Disney Photography question??

I know alot of you have done photo shoots with Disney Photography....so my question is....when you ordered pictures...did you go with a package?? or individual picks??
also did ANYONE get the cd & what are your thoughts on that??

Not sure how much help I am going to be on this but we did the MK shoot. I have yet to get my order placed, but we are just ordering "ala carte" so to speak. I will be getting the CD at our 3 year mark though. Just an FYI, I spoke with DPS last week (I have the name of the person at home), she is in charge of ordering prints. She told me they keep images for five years. After five years, they are gone. So if anyone is on the fence about photos or buying the cd, make sure you do so within 5 year. I don't know that we want a ton of reprints down the road, but if we had a fire or something and our photos were destroyed, I want the ability to get them made again, so I will definately be getting the CD and putting it in the lock box at the bank.

I'm not sure if I can answer your question either.

I didn't do a separate shoot with Disney, they did my entire wedding photography package.

I pre-ordered the proofs so that I would have a copy of all the pictures they took. Of course, the album came with the package so that wasn't an issue.

Disney's prices for prints/packages is expensive and I have not ordered any prints from them.

My three year mark is up this September. And I fell under the umbrella of "after 3 years your CD is $99". So I'll get my CD this September and be able to make all the prints I want.

We had a surprise Bridal shower that DPS photographed as well as our MK shoot and for now we have the proofs (I scanned them in ) and are waiting for our 3 year mark to purchase the CD!!

We had the MK and Epcot bridal portraits and Epcot honeymoon photos. We received proofs of each photo. I ordered the low resolution CD just to have the pics on the computer. We are going to order the high resolution CD in 3 years for $99. The CD has all 3 of our photo sessions. I have no intentions of ordering any additional photos from Disney-- but the 3 year wait is going to be tough!!

I got a cd of my wedding pics and printed them at walmart it was fine, the MK shoot pics you can't get a cd, photopass I got the cd also.
