Could someone list out the locations (again ;) ) of where to find the photographers at DL & DCA?

Also, assuming there isn't a line of people waiting to have their picture taken after you....is it okay to ask the photographers to take a picture with our own camera too?

I know they are at the entrance and the waterfalls at DCA. In DL they are in front of the castle. Not sure where else. There is never a line - most people don't really want these pictures (it seems).

I think it would be tacky to ask as this is a money making enterprise. It might be more appropriate to ask another CM (not a photog) or another guest. Many guests are happy to help you (and they don't run off with your camera).

We were in DL last Nov and were sitting under the big Christmas tree waiting to watch the parade, so many people were coming by to take family pictures in front on the tree and we ended up in there pictures, finally my husband stood up and started offering to take peoples pictures so their whole family could be in the picture. We joked with the people that this way they wouldn't have to explain who that wierd looking guy was in their Christmas picture. Before the parade started he had a line up of people wanting him to take their pictures with their own cameras it was so funny! But that is part of being at DL you help out fellow visitors when you can as well it was Christmas, who could refuse to take someone's picture for them at Christmas?

Just thought I would add that when my husband and I were down there in February, several times the photogs asked if we would like them to take a pic with our camera too. There were very nice about it. So there shouldn't be a problem asking them to take a pic with your camera.

Have fun,
Kathy

Thanks everyone! Great to hear about the photographers not minding.....and DUH, of course I should have thought to just ask other people at the park to take our picture.

Either way, sounds like we can all get into a few pictures together!

Thanks!

We had one of the photogs take our pic with our camera and they were all blurry! LOL

The CMs do a fine job, though.

Except for that one that dropped my camera and broke it!

Yes, they eventually fixed the problem! :goodvibes
