Hi Everyone!
Just a quick question. We are planning an Escape wedding...to take place eventually...
I'm curious...If we decide to have an outside vendor come in for photography, can we get an MK photo shoot INSTEAD of using them for the ceremony and cake cutting???

Unfortunately, no - but wouldn't that be sweet!

If you decide to hire your own photographer to shoot your Escape wedding, you have the option of substituting a Honeymoon Photographic Session at the Magic Kingdom at no additional charge or a session in one of the other parks for $50. However, you will only receive two 5x7 prints in a folio rather than the 20-print album that is included with full-price Honeymoon Photographic Sessions.

Bummer...With the new price increase I'm trying to figure out how to stay below budget...Which I'm WAY under anyway. My mom really wants the MK Shoot (I don't blame her) I want Roots I think -Lurkeyloo-I love your photos! BF & I wants the Rolls...but there might be dress/space issues there...More dress and not enough space...Depending on what my dress looks like

I pitched to BF that we could do Sunset Pointe if his brother got rid of his girlfriend...Who NO ONE likes...But BF wants the WP...I can't blame him...We've been admiring it for years.

Maybe I should just start my PJ...but honestly, call me silly...but I'm afraid that if I start my PJ I'll jinx the whole thing

Speaking of outside photographers and photo sessions- are you able to hire your own photographer and perhaps do an Epcot photo session? Lurkyloo- I've fallen IN LOVE with Roots Photography- such interesting and dynamic photos, I think they suit DF and I better than the Disney photographer photos. We're having a wishes wedding so would it be the same price for a photo session as an Escape?

Hiya! You can have an Escape wedding and then either buy an Epcot bridal portrait session (before the park opens, wedding clothes - just like the MK one) for $650 or the Epcot Honeymoon session for about $300 (no gown and tux, during regular park hours). Both of these are with a Disney photographer only. We were lucky b/c we had an in-park wedding, so it was like having an Epcot bridal portrait session with the Roots!

Sweet! We're having an Epcot ceremony as well (just need to actually choose a location- they're all so pretty!) So I'll keep that in mind! Hopefully I don't get *too* winded running from location to location for all the great photo ops!
