Disney Photo Pass download question. I'm confused.....

My family and I traveled to WDW in June of this year. We purchased AP's as we are returning in a few weeks for MNSSHP. I have looked at our pictures on Disney's Photo Pass but I haven't attempted to download them until just now. I am just about to download the photos and noticed a statement at the top that I'm unsure about. It reads: "You will be able to download any .zip files for 7 days from the date of creation. After the 7th day your download will no longer be available."

Does this mean that I can only download the photos for the next 7 days? I thought that my pictures were available for multiple downloads for the entire year that I own my AP.

The .zip file is only available for 7 days after it's created but you can create new .zips for the full year the photos are available for.

Basically the zip file takes up extra space on the server. They are expecting you to download the picture you requested shortly after you request because why else would you make the request. You get new pictures, you would then request a new batch of downloads and get a new zip file.
