I have seen that some girls on here have wedding websites that Disney actually set up. I have not been contacted about this and even asked my EM to check up on it for me. No result. How did you all get websites? I haven't freaked out since my wedding is 5 months away, but still I would like to get it up and running asap.

I have not yet signed my contract but have the date on hold and my planner has sent me forms to fill out with information, one which is the Wedding Website form. You fill it out and then they build it for you. So if you didn't get it with the room block info and everything else, I'd def. ask again. Good luck!

They offer websites now? I had to build my own last time! :earseek:

I haven't signed my contract yet, but was asked to fill out some info for the website. I'm still having my own, it's just more personal. The one that Disney provides just seems very plain, and you can't add pictures.

I haven't even signed my letter of agreement yet and I recieved an email about setting up my website. I would call about it. I think some event managers forget or something!!

I think it depends on whether you are having a custom or intimate wedding...I'm having an intimate and I had to ask several times for my website. I was never given a "website worksheet" to fill out (which is probably why the website they gave me still has the wrong information and nothing else), and well...I got tired of "waiting" so I created mine on The Knot...I like it better.

Call your coordinator/EM and ask about it...

Personally I think the Disney one stinks, no offense Disney but blah! I have created my own and am working on creating a post wedding one now. It is included in the intimate package and when I originally asked my coordinator about it she told me that it tends to be done about 6 weeks before the event date which is pushing it for me.

i agree, i think the disney websites being made/available varies on custom & intimate brides, ours was running at 8 months out with disney but we also made our own personal website with additional info & pics, disneys wedding sites for us brides isnt the great but is better than nothing & can be helpful with the booking info i would call/email your em about the website.

I booked by intimate wedding at the end of June for November and I had my website set up by the first week of July, I didn't even have to ask. I then wanted to change the color and fix some info and my wedding co-ordinator did it while I was on the phone with her. I do agree that it is kinda plain and simple but if you are not computer savy or just don't have time then it does the job.

Hmmm, I am annoyed that I have not even been offered the info forms to fill out and signed a contract 3 months ago. Annoying! Will have to get my EM on it!

We're having an intimate next May and booked this past June. I received an e-mail within 3-4 weeks with a link to our website, I didn't even know we were getting one. We don't even have an EM yet, so I just contacted the sales manager for any updates that we wanted. I guess we lucked out!

Hi,

I had my planning session in July and my Vow Renewal is December 16. I just got my link to my Disney Wedding Website today.

I almost erased it because it came from a name I didn't recognize. But it did say "Your Wedding Website". Not sure how long before event it comes, but it does say that I have only 14 days to make changes.

Hope this helps.

Lisa
