How much do they sell for in the parks? I'm looking on ebay to see if i can get them cheaper but i don't know how much they actually cost. Also has anyone used them and do you think my almost 3 and 5 year olds (their ages when we get there) will enjoy them?

Passport Kits are about $10 plus tax. Pressed penny books are about $7 plus tax.

Thanks! Do they sell a bunch of different types with different characters?

There are two types of Passports. The Epcot Passport is only sold at Epcot. The Animal Kingdom Passport is sold at Animal Kingdom and at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

There are two versions of the pressed penny book. One has Sorcerer Mickey on the front. The other has Tink on the front.

My DD was a little over four when we were there and she loved the pressed penny book and the passport in Epcot. She was on the lookout for pressed penny machines everywhere and got so excited when she spotted one herself. The passport helped to keep the World Showcase interesting for her. You get it stamped and signed at the Kidcot stops which she loved doing as well so it worked out well. After each country, she would then place the stamps that came with it in the book. I think your kids are the perfect age and would really enjoy it!

They are $7 in the parks? I am trying to make up a bag for DS to give to him when we get to the resort so I've been looking on Ebay for things and wanted a Pressed Penny book but the only ones I see are like $10-11 inc shipping. I was hoping to get some things on Ebay before our trip that might be a little cheaper than buying in the parks.

I don't remember how much we paid for the book (we got the Sorcerer Mickey one) but we LOVE it! This is the "cheapest" way to collect something for DS (5) so it was worth buying the book. I think making them a surprise bag to take is a great idea too! I am going to do something like that for my neighbors when we go in Sept - its their first trip :wizard:

I forgot about the Passport thing! Was that something that you would end up waiting in lines for...I mean to have it stamped? I'm making DS a bag to give him when we get there and want to get a Pressed Penny book but now I'm thinking about the Passport too. I don't think he would be into the whole autograph thing as much and that takes up so much time so I thought this would be a good alternative!

We have the pressed penny books and the Epcot passports and my DS3 & DS5 love them! I have never seen the AK passports before! Do they have stations to stamp them somewhere at AK like they do at Epcot?

the pressed penny books are $6.50 plus tax.

as said there are two different books, kind of one for the boys and one for the girls, blue socerer (sp) mickey and lilac tinkerbell

thou the contents inside the books are different the mickey book hold 64 pennies whereas the tink holds 48 pennies and 6 quarters.

No lines for the passports! The Kidcot station attendants do the passports as well. We might have waited a minute if other kids had just gotten there. Here is a link to Brad K's website and definitive guide to Kidcot and passports - some of the locations can be hard to find. He even has a handy one sheet at the bottom. http://www.stitchkingdom.com/kidcot/
