Disney Parks Planning DVD

So remember the DVDs Disney gives out for free when you order a planning dvd?
I remember they had one version back in 2005 when they had 4 people actually in the parks having fun and being entertaining.
now it's just cast members giving interviews. not really all exciting.

what do you think of the trip planning dvds?

I think I had one 100 years ago.

They might be more interesting to people who don't read these boards, which are infinitely more up-to-date and comprehensive than those DVDs.

I love the planning DVDs/videos. I liked getting them in the mail and enjoyed now that they allow you to just download them. I do think they are due for a new one now that SWGE is open!

Same here. Some people want to be immersed in Disney and while that is fine for them, we don't need a video to tell us where to walk or what to see next. Unless the DVD is fairly current, it probably isn't of much value for vacation planning as new rides have been added or things about how something like FastPass works might have changed.

Those DVD's are more of a Disney ad to me. Much like those video blogs where people walk around the park or talk about a restaurant where they ate. Some enjoy that sort of thing while others don't find them of much value.
