So we now know the parks will be closed for a bit. Since the construction that is going on are with private contractors, I wonder if they can ramp it up or will it come to a stand still? Kinda hard for the construction workers to “social distance” while working.

I would think that since there won't be anyone else there they'd ratchet up the construction. But that's just a guess.

However, they need to work in groups as well and might not want to work like that. My guess is that only essential personnel will be there. Construction isn't really essential.

I would expect that, depending on availability of personnel and supplies, and suitable task scheduling, construction would be accelerated.

So far, most companies don't seem to be ceasing operations down to only essential personnel. That may change but I know our company still has all manufacturing/distribution running while office workers are working from home.

Private contractors' employees will be susceptible to the same off work concerns as everyone else. It can go either way.

What if a construction worker tested positive? Should construction still go on for our enjoyment? Everything is shutting down for a reason.

Yup, they're all being sent packing. I'm betting we'll see a lot of scrapped projects now.
