With Swan and Dolphin being Marriott Property Owned, how are the buses set up taking guests to and from MK and AK, for example? Is it a Disney Bus or some private bus? Also how does extra magic hours, etc work?

Swan/Dolphin no longer have Disney owned busses and use Mears busses. The only big difference is at MK it drops you off at TTC instead of the inside bus loop. You can always walk over to BW or YC/BC and take their busses, but a lot have reported by the time you walk over there you aren't really saving any time.

You get both Early Entry and Extended hours staying there, just have to link it to your MDE account.

so Swan and Dolphin are considered deluxe now where before anyone staying at any resort got extended hours now it's reserved for select hotels?

Yes they are considered deluxe. Every onsite hotel gets 30 minutes early entry each day. Only deluxe hotels get the select extended evening hours.

All onsite resorts plus select non-WDW resorts (Downtown Disney resorts plus Swolphin and SoG)) receive the morning early entry 30 minutes.
Only onsite deluxe resorts plus a few select non-WDW resorts (Swolphin and SoG), are eligible for the extended evening hours.

Is there a swan/dolphin main thread?

I can't seem to link it, but its "Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions" under the disney resorts sub-forum.
