Disney Parks Blog event -- What to expect?

Hi all!

I just got the email that I got a space at the Disney Parks Blog Pete's Dragon meet-up at Fort Wilderness on Wednesday evening! The directions say to meet at Disney Springs at the West bus loop between 7 and 8:30 and the movie will be at 9. Should we get there on the early side? Will they have fun stuff to do? I haven't ever been able to do one of these before, but we are in town this time!! Is there food? Swag?

This will be the first one I've been to as an outdoor screening - usually they are at AMC

For timing, earlier is better since seating is first-come-first-served. Give yourself plenty of time to park, check in, and be shuttled over. This is a late event, so be prepared to spend a good chunk of time at Ft Wilderness.

They haven't posted anything about any extras, but it's possible. In the past they have given out anything from rice crispy treats to MagicBands, but nothing is guaranteed. I would be prepared with at least snacks/cash just in case.
