Disney Parks Blog emails?

Hope this is okay to post, if not, mods please delete!

Has anyone else suddenly stopped receiving the daily emails? Both my husband and I have noticed we're not getting them anymore. I went on to the website to try and re-sign up, but all I'm finding is that you can subscribe to a blog 'feed' thing, not for emails. Are we missing something?

Now that you mention it, I've stopped getting them 2 sometime in the last week or 2. Wonder what's up?

Same here! I just checked my disorganized mess of an inbox (where rarely anything get deleted unless it's junk mail)... The last day I recieved my Disney Parks Blog daily email was on July 4th. I wonder what's going on?

Same problem here. No more emails. Went to the blog, and can't find a way to subscribe again. Only the RSS feed. Wonder what's up?

I've just registered to Disboards as I wanted to know why I suddenly stopped receiving my Disney parks blog emails. I'm from the UK and usually get them everyday at 12:30pm. I haven't had any since last week?? No where on the site does it give you the option to subscribe again via email. So I went into an old email from the blog and clicked unsubscribe thinking it would give the option to subscribe again but it hasn't!

I don't want to miss out on all the latest need as I'm going WDW again in November!

If anyone could help that would be great xxx

I also noticed I stopped receiving the daily blogs, so I sent an email to Disney Online. At the same time, I asked about the RSS feed option, which is the only one that shows up now. Their reply is as follows:

Thank you for contacting us.

I regret to inform you that the emailed newsletter feature of the Disney Parks Blog has been discontinued. However, guests are still welcome to visit the Disney Parks Blog for all of the same information that you used to receive via email.

As for your question regarding the available RSS feed on the blog. Subscribing to a website RSS removes the need for you to manually check the web site for new content. Instead, your browser constantly monitors the site and informs you of any updates.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

So now the choice is to try to remember to visit once a day, or receive a notification every time the blog is updated. Neither option sounds very desirable. I was hoping it was just a temporary glitch, but apparently not.

Thanks for finding this out! I agree in that I don't really like either option. The emails were so nice to get every day.
