Disney park ticket question

So we are going in June for a week. Actually will be 6 days in the parks and we want to to at least 1 day at Universal. So my question is, is it better to buy the tickets before we go or just by passes at the gate? I was planning on getting 5 day passes - no park hoppers or anything special. DH wants to spend at least one afternoon at Blizzard Beach so I'll have to fit that in somewhere.

We've been in June before and it was crowded but would pretty much clear out every time it rained (which was almost daily). Any suggestions?

Are you going to be staying in a Disney Resort?

If yes, look at the possibility of a package which includees tickets.

If no, subscribe (free) to Mousesavers.com and look at the recommendation they have for off-site ticket vendors.

Do not, under any circumstances, use eBay or Craigslist or anything that has the phrase "time share preview" in their requirements

We aren't staying at a resort this time - we rented a 3 bedroom townhouse instead. I subscribed to Mousesavers so I'll keep an I on that.
