I received a Pandora bracelet for my birthday in 2013, and charms from my mom, sister and Aunt. We all have matching bracelets and charms (my sister's daughters and my daughter as well). I have worn mine EVERY SINGLE DAY since the day I got it. I take it off when I go to bed and when I take a shower. The charms have all held up - even the enamel one - to every day wear and tear. I have the basic silver bracelet (the $65 one) and charms only from them. I wear 3 charms and 2 clips on mine - 2 of them are dangly.
I've since received another Pandora bracelet (the fabric string one in black) and have been wearing that every day for about 6 months, in addition to the other - same wrist. I have 3 charms on that one too - both bracelets co-exist happily, and have held up well. I hate taking them off with freshly painted or jamberry-d nails- as it usually tears up the thumb, where I push it into the clasp. Now, I use a cell phone opening tool (something else to shove in the clasp to open in instead of my thumbnail.).
I also have a purple braided leather bracelet, but I never wear it because I'm afraid of getting the leather wet. But the other 2 I wear every day.
My daughter wears hers on the weekends - she gets too easily distracted at school if worn every day. But it's a lovely gift, and she loves that she has "her loved ones" with her - each charm is from someone that's very important in her life, and the charms are a good way to keep them with her. They also reflect her personality and/or an inside joke between them. For example - my mom gave her the watchful eye to remind her that her actions will always be seen by someone (meant to encourage her to make good decisions). My aunt gave her a butterfly, because they love to go to the butterfly gardens together.
We're looking forward to getting WDW charms on our trip in a couple months!
