Disney Pages from recent Class

Your layouts are really nice and I love the coloring book embellishments. Once you scan them in, do you print them directly on the layout or print them on white paper and then cut them out.

Thanks,

Lisa

I scan the pages into my computer, then size them. After that I print them on white cardstock, color them, scan them in again for class prep, then cut it out. Hope that makes sense.

Wow, loved the layouts!!!! I saved the photos and the instructions so I could do similar versions.

I too have some Disney coloring books that I have found at the store and I scan them to the computer prior to coloring them and then I use them after I print them out, that way I can do different things to them, whether it be color or glitter, etc.

Thanks again for posting these great layouts for us.

These are great layouts! I would love your files. Coloring is just not my thing. Thanks for offering them. Would love to see more pages.

Where do you teach classes?

these are just beautiful!! I guess I'll be browsing the coloring book section at World of Disney next trip!!

Thanks for all the kind words ladies... I love to do Disney pages. Someone asked where I teach classes, I live in Colorado Springs, CO and teach out of my home. I have tons of ladies that have followed me over the years and the word has gotten out so I usually have a full house when I do the classes. I used to teach at a LSS, but the owner and I did not see eye-2-eye and I quit teaching there and started to do them on my own. I will post some more photos soon, I promise.

The pages were from a coloring book I got from the parks. I did not paper piece them, but could of. I am a very bulky scrapper, so if I were to piece them they would be pretty thick. I just used foam tape to pop them off the page. You are more than welcome to scraplift these. I colored them with watercolor pencils then scanned them into my computer. If you would like them, I am willing to share, just send me a message with your e-mail and I will pass them on. I have found that there is so many cool pictures in the coloring books that we can't find anywhere else, so I have been using them a ton in classes.

I LOVE your pages!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I wished I lived near you so I could take one of your classes.

I have a question - I have never used watercolor pencils. Do I just go to a craft store and get any set? Will an inexpensive set work for doing this?

Thanks again!

I use the watercolor pencils from Prism, they seem to have brighter color to me, but I think any would work. The key is to use them like a color, not using water at all... and to color dark.
