Disney Outlets?

I have never been to the Disney outlets. Can you tell me how they are price wise? Are they worth the trip? Is it quality stuff? I really want to try them this March while we are down there, can I have locations too? Thanks!

Hi Emme,

Just so you know, there is a new Disney Outlet store at Woodbury Commons in Harriman, NY.
It should take you less than an hour to get there from Putnam County.

This store is smaller than the outlet stores in Florida, but they sell the same discounted items.

You should check it out before you go, then you'll be able to decide if you want to spend the time in Florida shopping at one (or all) of them.

We just returned from WDW and visited the Belz Outlet Mall located at the junction of International Drive and Oakridge Drive (about 25 minutes from the airport I think). We only went to one of the Character Warehouses (as they call them), and I wasn't able to find a nicely embroidered sweatshirt, which is what I was looking for. It really depends on what you're looking for, but we were able to find some nice souvenirs for my niece and nephews for $1.99 - $3.99. We got an ESPN baseball, a small Disney football and a small Disney rubber ball. Also the lighted Minnie wand that we had just gotten at WDW for $6 was only $1.99 there. We also got a boys black polo shirt with Mickey embroidered in the pocket area and another girls long-sleeved tshirt. Both were $9.99....orginally around $18, I think. It was fun to look around, but it is a typical outlet.........all the overstock sizes, colors, themes, etc. Again, it just depends on what you're looking for. I thought it was worth a peek.
