Can anyone tell me if the ART goes to the Disney outlet store in Anaheim? How far away is it? Are the prices a lot better there for souveniers?

Also, we're staying at the Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort. Can anyone suggest a grocery store nearby where we can get a few snacks, water bottles, and hopefully a bottle of wine? I don't mind grabbing a cab if I have to when we get there or is there something on the ART route? We will have 5 day passes waiting for us when we arrive in the afternoon.

I am clueless as to the layout of the area so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

ART doesn't go that far north - the Character Warehouse is in Fullerton near the corner of Lemon and Orangethorpe. You can take the northbound #43 bus on Harbor Blvd, but if I'm not mistaken your hotel is on Manchester quite a ways from Harbor and fairly isolated. I think the #47 bus on Haster would do it but it's a bit of a walk through an iffy neighborhood. You might check with the hotel on transportation options.

I checked out that stretch of Manchester, and actually you're only about a 1/4 mile from Katella on a path that's isolated from the neighborhood, and there's an independent store on Katella that should be able to fill your grocery needs. But I wouldn't be surprised if your hotel or the adjacent Staybridge Suites has groceries. One benefit of your location is that you won't be too far from The Block at Orange, an outdoor mall with lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Too far to walk though, but a cab or hotel transpo might be available.

We picked up a few things at the disney outlet last week but there was nothing that was a fabulous deal, it was kinda disappointing actually.

We went tonight and got a $48 fleece princess coat for $9.99. A tshirt I bought a the parks 2 weeks ago for $19 was only $6. I was so mad!!!!

They have some new winter stiff and some good deals. A christmas plush tinkerbell for $5.00

we went this past Wed. and we were VERY disappointed (still bought 40 bucks worth, but spent over 350 in the park, so we were willing to spend...)

we did NOT buy any clothes though~

was much dirtier than i expected too

not sure we would make another trip there or not.
it came HIGHLY recommended by my friend (but she is a family of 7 i'm a family of 4)
