Disney Outlet Store (FL)

Hi....

My husband and I will be leaving on Saturday (woo-hoo...only 5 more days!!) and I have heard about the infamouse outlet store, near Beals. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some directions on how to get there (we will be renting a car 1 or 2 days)? Also, if anyone has been there....is it worth going to?

When I was down there in April of this year we found 3 outlet stores. One right off the interstate and 2 others a little further than that. I got some great deals on park products for my kids and gifts for friends. If you are staying on park ask at your front desk they know the best ways of getting there. you could do all 3 places in 1 day of a car rental but with some rates being chaeper for 2 days. you might want to look into 2 days. also you might want to reaserch into the possibility of renting from alomo/ national who have a free shuttle service on property. One of the Outlets is in the Lake Buena Vista Outlet Mall and called Character Outlet and the other two are in the Belz Factory outlet mall.
And then there is one in the Orlando Premier Outlets and it is called Disney Character Premier. So 4 stores in all and the ones in the Belz are a good distance from the LAke Buena vista one. I really found no deals at the Lake Buena Vista Store. Worth the trip to Lake Buena Vista for other shops just not Disney Merchandise.. Good Luck bargain shopping

I was at the Disney store at the outlet mall in St. Augustine Saturday....they had Disney Wilderness shirts with Embroidered Mickey on the pocket for 99 cents..also, Pal Mickey was only $13.99!

Let me know if there's something you would like for me to get...I enjoy going to DT St. Augustine to the "Mill" and have a couple of "Adult" beverages.

The Belz Outlet on International Drive near WDW is now called Prime Outlets and there are 2 different Disney Outlets located here. There's also one much closer to WDW off I-4 that is in the Premier Outlet. I usually find that the outlet in St Augustine has some merchandise that the other 3 don't have.

I usually drag my family to the one off of I-4 right by downtown Disney, Premier Outlets. There is a grocery store right behind it (Pulix) which is handy. I haven't shopped the other stores (or the other stores within the outlet mall!) so I can't compare the Disney outlets. What I love to find there is the things I have a hard time paying full price for. Most of it is out of season/date, but it is common for me to find $6-10 t-shirts. The last time we went (last month) I found spring break with Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell t-shirts for cheap. The more current t-shirts have higher prices, but less than in the parks.
I like to save money on this stuff, like the t-shirts and key chains etc and then I feel more justified to buy the more specialized art at the parks!

Thank you!!! I will call again tomorrow. I wanted to find out about pins there. Friends are going in Feb and I wanted to suprise them with pins for Christmas(to trade at WDW...their kids love my kids laynardsfull of pins..)

Excellent Idea....they have pins and lanyards there.

We went to the 2 Prime outlet disneys stores and the one near downtown disney. The one near downtown disney didn't have much and to my surprise had merchandise that was definately not disney related. I think they were Universal Characters. The shirts etc were from last years Christmas stuff. The Prime outlets had lots of stuff and some of it was 50th celebration stuff. We also picked up pins for 2.99 each to trade for the current ones. The only drawback is that the CMs will only trade if you have a pin that is not already on their lanyards. We found that the inexpensive pins were fairly saturated in the parks which made trading more difficult. We only had one that we ended up bringing home because we couldn't find a CM without it. It definately saved a lot of money. The lanyards were the same price as in the parks as were the current pins.
