Disney Outlet...How Far? Worth It?

How close is the nearest outlet to Disney World? We will not have our own transportation so we would need to either cab it or uber it. Would it be worth it? Is the Outlet even worth going too? Thanks!

The outlet is probably only 5 miles from Disney if that, it is right near Disney Springs. The Character Warehouse store at the Vineland outlets is a great shop with some pretty good deals. But if I didn't have my own car, I wouldn't make a special trip to get there.

Around WDW everything from Walmart to Walgreens will have Disney themed merchandise for cheaper than in the parks. For example, once I bought bright yellow Mickey and Minnie rain ponchos at the Walgreens or CVS (can't remember which) within walking distance from Sea World where we were staying.

The last few times we went, it definitely wasn't worth it - used to be able to find some terrific deals, but not so much the last several years. Am sure it's 'hit & miss'!!

Not worth it if you have to pay to get there. The outlet is a hit or miss. You may waste your money and time. If you had a csr it would be different

I have seen discounted cruise line items there...also carries discounted DVC logo merchandise

We went to the Character Warehouse at the Outlets. Personally, I wouldn't make the trip just for that store.
