Disney Outlet at the Citadel

It's basically a regular Disney store, with a few made for the outlet items that will be advertised like, "2 shirts for $25," which really isn't that great of a deal. The park merchandise is maybe 15-20% of the floor space. It is replenished irregularly. As an example, I once got picture frames for all my friends, but the next 2 times I went back about 5 and 11 months later, they didn't have a single picture frame. I once found the previous year's Christmas items in early October, what was left wasn't in great shape. They tend to have a mix of DLR and WDW items. I actually think that the DLR items might sell more, making it seem like a lot of WDW at times. If you're looking for something specific you might be disappointed. If you're just looking for nothing in particular, you might find something to buy. Another thing to be aware of is that pricing changes frequently. I bought a shirt for $7.99 + they had a special for 20% off red tag items. The red tag had several price tags on top of each other. I peeled them off and the shirt had been $4.99, they raised the price before offering the 20% off. I still thought I got a good deal, but there is no guarantee that the deal one person gets on Monday will be the same offer for the same item on Friday. And the Monday shopper might be happier with the experience than the Friday shopper due to that difference.

if it's like the one in Camarillo, there are few items that we saw there that we didn't see at DLR. Their animator series dolls are NOT the same as the ones at DLR and DisneyStore.com - not nearly as nice. But we did manage to spend $100 there on items we didn't see at DLR.

We stopped today on our way to my Sister-in-law's and I wasn't impressed. It was very messy and not "outlet" priced at all. They did have a few of racks in the back that were 50% off on Parks items. The rest was the same price you find in the parks or DTD.

I miss the Character Warehouse type of outlets.
