We have never stayed onsite before but i've begged my parents for years and this time they are actually going to consider it but instead of going the whole trip onsite we are going to be onsite a couple nights and offsite another couple. I really need a suggestion of when to stay? The first 2 nights, or the last 2 nights. I think 2 nights makes most sense, so it's going to be something to look forward to but i may be wrong. Any suggestions? :confused3

And besides the Pop Century Hotel, AllStar, Music (I forget the other ones?) what other hotels is there that are Deluxe but with good prices?

For 3 adults (Well it'll be 4 then because brother is 18) so make that 4 adults and 1 child? What Deluxe hotel with good prices is recommended? Thanks for the help! :cool1:

For your first stay, try a moderate. Port Orleans is a GREAT resort, with a very good price. Once your family stays on property they will never go back.

Yes, it would make more sense to end your trip on-site. Like you said to give you something to look forward to.

There are three classes of resorts, Value (All Stars and Pop), Moderates (Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans and Riverside), the Moderate Deluxes (Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge) and the Deluxes (Poly, Contemporary, Beach Club/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Grand Floridean etc.) Just have your parents figure out how much they are willing to spend on a room per night, then pick the resort in that category that has the theming you like the best.

If your parents can swing a Moderate, I think they give you the most bang for your buck.... Happy Choosing!

Thanks for the advice! :goodvibes

For the moderate which is the one that's recommended most?

My personal favorite moderate is Coronado Springs. It's a large resort, but it is so beautiful, I think. It also has probably one of the best pools of the moderates. However if you ask 10 people which is their favorite I'm sure you get many different answers with different reasons.

Go to the resorts section of this site and check out pics of all the mods and see which one appeals to you and your family the most.

I don't know when you are planning to go, but an FYI, I did hear that Coronado's pool would be closing for refurbishment for a few months at the beginning of 2008, so that could affect your choice.

Hmm thanks for letting me know. I think we'll try the Port Orleans French Quarters! They are all great so we'll just see. But thanks for responding so quickly! :goodvibes

Many of the resorts on property have a maximum of 4 people per room - I would recommend the POFQ (a moderate) and some of their rooms will accommodate 5 people. Once you say at a Disney Resort you will never want to stay offsite again!!:wizard:

POFQ only accomodates 4 in a room. Port Orleans Riverside is the only moderate that can accomodate 5 in a room. The rooms in the AB section have 2 double beds and a trundle bed and accomodate 5. Is the child in your party small enough to sleep in the trundle?
The All Stars also have the Family Suites, which can accomodate 6. It is a 2 room suite. The bedroom has a Queen bed and the living room has a pull out sofa, ottoman and chair that all make into beds. It includes 2 full bathrooms and a kitchenette. Having the kitchenette can help to save money be eating at least breakfast in your room.
Either of these would be a good choice for your family.
Have Fun Planning.

Thank you! Well i'm the child of the family :rolleyes1 Haha, but i don't know if i can fit there. Mhm, i wish they'd accomadate more people in the other moderates. That kind of stinks but anyways thanks for the advice!!
