Samantha Brown loves the Grand Marnier Orange Slush! popcorn::

Disney's Best Kept Secret coming on at 8pm.

Remember at 8:00 is the new DVC special on the travel channel. I am sitting here just waiting for it to come on.:happytv:
DJ

For those (me) that miss it at 8pm it comes on again at 11 pm. Best kept secret show.

They are really pushing the tradeouts elsewhere (Adventures by Disney). They aren't saying that they cost tons of points plus fees. Plus they have eliminated alot of resorts.

I wonder if The Travel Channel charged DVC for this commercial.

While I like the show, love seeing anything Disney, it's basically an hour long infomercial....

I completely agree. I feel like I am watching one of those promo DVDs they send out.

I think I just caught a glipse of them getting ready to show the one family the new BLT models!

I think it is also very confusing for people who don't know the resorts. They showed the large family in what looked like a GV at BW and then showed them swimming at Storm Along Bay. Now imagine someone buying into Beach Club only to realize there are no Grand Villas.

Maybe they illegally pool hopped to Beach Club!!!!!:rotfl:

Where's the DisPolice??

That's an hour of my life I won't get back.

I don't think it was deceptive... BORING, but.. you can do all those things.

As CarolA said, I don't think it was deceptive. I think it really tried to highlight the ways in which you wouldn't want to use your points as being the best ways to use your points. From an uneducated DVC perspective, it probably was a very enticing program. From an educated perspective, it was absolutely boring! Then again, I'm not really sure what I was expecting to get from it.

Okay, wait now- Although, it was definitely an hour long infomercial & just a different, updated version of the current DVC DVD that I received with my Dream book (about 2 mos ago)- Think about it- All of you, until you decided it<DVC> may be something for you, all you really saw was the Magic & all of the opportunities that comes w/ DVC when you first went on your tour, or had someone tell you what "timeshare" they belonged to- It was all magical & exciting- Then, you started researching, asking questions, etc & are now the knowledgeable, Happy Owners you are today- So, as a new "Tell the world why DVC montrage" it was entertaining and even now as I watched, I was wishing to be there right now! LOL I think they did a bit more of showing off the II & Adventures options than in my DVD but that made it even more exciting to me this time- again! What can I say, I DO Believe in the Disney Magic! :wizard:
