Does anyone know if you are allowed to take flash pictures during disney on Ice? Just curious. princess:

They have always advised not to -but everyone does. This annoys me. I really hate trying to watch the performers with flashes in my eyes.

Hi All!

Actualy, I just saw Toy Story in Connecticut - I did see the flashes going off - they do tell you not to use them but most people still take pictures.

Have Fun!

Thanks, I won't be taking any pictures. I don't like when people take pictures when you are not supposed to either.

Just wanted to update on this thread. We just got back from Dinsey on Ice and you are allowed to take flash photos. You can't video tape or audio tape though. Just thought someone might like to know this.

I just saw Disney Finding Nemo in Boston. I think each location has its own rules. You were not allowed to use cameras of any type at all here.

and I asked someone who worked there and I was told that you can definetly take pictures during the show.

I heard the Finding Nemo show was just "awesome!"

We are going tommorrow in London Ontario to see 100yrs of Magic show We can't wait!! It's not WDW but it is the next best thing for us at the moment. They kids are pretty excited since they are in figure skating. :Pinkbounc

Just went to the Beauty and The Beast SHow last night and I used my good camera. I had a 300mm lens and 800 speed fild so I could catch close-ups and use the exsisting light. We're not supposed to have camera's where I went either but they let me through.

Having a competitive skater in the family, I'd like to add my 2 cents...

Flash from a camera in the 14th row is not going to do anything but light up the head in front of you, so that it will show up nice and shiny in your picture.

If you are sitting closer to the ice, there's a great chance that the flash will blind the skaters, and could cause an accident/injury. Skating is a dangerous sport, and these ice shows have the added danger of scenery, props, and costumes that are difficult to skate in.

So show some courtesy to the skaters - don't use a flash!
