Disney on Ice?

So far we've seen three. The Princess one, the Jungle One, & the Incredibles at the Magic Kingdom. My daughter started going when she was 4 and the last one she saw was at 8 this past year. She's loved them. I also enjoyed them. I think if you're really a Disney Buff, you'll enjoy them.

The Incredibles is the one coming to our area. My kids don't really like the Incredibles, but have always wanted to see Disney on Ice. Did you enjoy this one? Which is the best?

I saw the Jungle one a couple years ago when i was like 11 and I loved it. The age dpends on how much your kids like disney! :goodvibes

We've seen The Jungle One, Toy Story, and The Incredibles. This year The Princess one is coming. My oldest is 10 and she still loves them. I will say however, that the first two we saw were based on the movies and the Incredibles wasn't. It was about them taking a trip to the Magic Kingdom. Mine liked the others better than that one. Hopefully the Princess one will be good this year.

We've seen the Princess one, Monsters Inc, Nemo, and Incredibles @ MK. Our favorite was the Monsters Inc one because it was just awesome how the doors came down from the ceiling and the skaters were up there among other things. It's definately with the cost. And even better, if your child is involved in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts the shows usually have a 'Scout Night' and you can get great seats for $15 each plus a patch for the child.

We have seen 100 years of Magic and the jungle adventures and my dd(5) and ds(7) loved them, as did me and my dh. It always nice to have a bit of Disney magic when you are in between trips. I also found out from an article in my local newspaper that a local teen is going to train in Florida for the next Disney on Ice show. It states:

"The long time Pickering Skating Club(in Ontario, Canada) member has signed on to perform as part of Disney's brand new show, Princess Wishes Featuring Tinkerbell, which is set to tour North America through the end of 2006 and into 2007".

I can't wait, sounds like a great show!!!

We have seen both Nemo and the Incredibles.

Nemo was good.

They are about 2 hrs long.

The Incredibles is like a really bad commercial for Disney, the only thing that got my dd (3 almost 4) through it is that they give the children these red bracelets with 2 buttons that turn on the light and you could say it is kind of "interactive for a whole 20 seconds". Huge waste of money.

My DW and I have seen I believe 4 of these in the past 3 years. I'm 29, she's 27 and we don't have any kids. So in short, yes they are very enjoyable, even for us "big kids". As someone stated earlier, it is a great way to get a little Disney Magic in between trips.

We have seen all but the Jungle one and the Princess one. We go, 5 of us my Mom, me, and my 3 Dks ages 7,9 & 14 and everyone LOVES them. There was only one we didn't like but the skaters were out of sync and falling and everything but that is not typical of these shows. I emailed the quality control people since I had spent almost $200 on tickets and they sent a bunch of free Mickeys Minnies and coloring books. I thought that was pretty nice of them. We wouldn't hesitate to go again and I have to say our favorite was the Incredibles Magic Kingdom one. It gives you a taste of Disney so far away when you can't be there.
