Disney on Ice question

I'm planning on purchasing tickets for Disney on ice in NJ. Does anyone know if the rink is open, or is there a back drop. The seats I'm looking at appear to be in the back corner of the rink, and not sure if the view will be obstructed. If its an open rink, it should be no problem. IF anyone can give their opinion on best location to sit too would be great. Thanks

Is this in Trenton? When my DH took our DS to see Nemo, the one end was closed. We saw Disneyland Adventures on Ice in Philly, an end was also closed, but no tickets were available for that area. DH was fairly high up in Trenton, but thought that they were better than the high seats we had in Philly due to the smaller size of the arena. I would recommend center ice, but we had a end view and were happy too. Remember to bring along any Disney light up toys you may have or buy 1 cheaper at the Disney store, as they cost $20 at the show Also, bring in snacks and drinks from home...also very expensive:) Enjoy the show!

If the same performance is being offered in Trenton, go there. I took my niece to the circus at the Izod Center and the prices were crazy compared to what they wanted in Trenton. The arena is smaller and the area isn't bad, the prisoners are all behind barbed wire. :rotfl:

If you are looking at the Izod Center, then yes, half of the arena is used. The gray area is sectioned off.

All the Disney on Ice shows I have been too (at least 6 or 7) have one end closed.

I'm planning on going to the one at the Prudential Center and the seating chart for there looks similar - one end closed.

We're waiting until January to go to the one where they pretend to be traveling through Magic Kingdom - Disneyland Adventure or something like that. Jungle Cruise on ice should be interesting :rotfl: ...it sounds like a fun show.

That was a cute show! You may want your kids to see The Incredibles before they go, as they are the main characters. The Haunted Mansion scenes were worth the ticket price alone! Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip - we haven't watched the Incredibles in a long time. I'll make sure we get re-acquainted with Dash and family before we go.
