I didn't see this mentioned on the main page. I received an email this morning that Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream is coming in January.

The presale code is DREAMER. That is the good news. The bad news is Disney has tiered ticket prices and our once beloved row 3 that we have been getting for $25 per ticket for the last couple of years is now considered "premium" seating right below the VIP tier at a whopping $55 per picket. We are now relegated to row 8 for $30 per ticket. I love Disney but dang it - I hate it when they realize they can charge more for better seating. LOL!!

Wow, row 3 for $25? What arena? We've seen Disney on Ice at 2 different arenas over the past few years, both had tiered pricing, and row 3 (or row 8) were nowhere near $25 per ticket -- probably more like $75 or $80 -- with $25 in the upper level seating. None of the locations around here have tickets on sales yet but thanks for the reminder to keep an eye out.

Enjoy the show!

Then I should feel quite fortunate in times past. I'm talking the Q Arena in Cleveland and for the past couple of years I was able on the first presale day to snag 3rd row for $25 each. Never saw the tiered pricing until this year.

Once I got over the initial sticker shock I was okay with the $30 8th row seats.

We see it every year in Bridgeport, CT. We get the first row of normal seats (not the special seats right next to the ice, the ones that are the normal first row for hockey) for $30 or less each year. It doesn't look like presale has happened yet for us, but I hope those seats haven't gotten pricier.

I hope you can get your close seats for $30. I don't think row 8 is bad but row 3 last year for $25 was awesome!!

They come to Philadelphia Christmas week and row 3 is pricey. My job buys a few club boxes and sells the tickets to us at a discount. DD and I have been going since she was 4. It's in her stocking every year.

What's the theme this year?

Been to Disney on Ice probably around 6 times. I can say that I am actually burnt out on this particular Disney entertainment. But they were fun and entertaining during the past eight years or so.

I bought 15 tickets for all my crew including my son and his fiance! Can't wait until I can add any grands that come along in the future to our annual pilgrimage to the show!!

This year's theme is: Dare to Dream.
