For the holidays, the family went to see Disney on Ice.

I have been to four in the past three years, and this one was by far the best yet.

Here's a few pics.

It started with Donald driving the zamboni

Then Mickey welcomed us all

The Genie popped out of the zamboni, and sang "You ain't never had a friend like me"

Followed by Jasmine and Alladin - most of those pics are blurry

Then Nemo came out, got lost, and boy did Marlin freak out. He looked for help, and found Dory.

Here they are getting attacked by a shark named BRUCE!

Next the usual gang came back out to introduce the next story

It was about a girl, from a little town who didn't quite fit in. She met up with a mean beast, and not to ruin it for you - they end up living happily ever after.

After that, there musta been some trouble 'cause they called in the Army.

Turns out it was just Andy's birthday. He got a present, it was a Space Ranger named Buzz.

For some reason they went on to skip right into what's known in the biz as "a sequel" 'cause they found an old friend of Woody's, her name is Jessie.

Now for the most spectacular part of the show. I am not sure if I mentioned this or not, but the show was at the Roger's Centre in Toronto.
Well somehow they transported us to Anaheim California, where we went to Disneyland.

Here was a glimps of "It's a Small World" and "The Main Street Electrical Parade"

Intermission - where they magically transported us back to Toronto, and wouldn't ya know - they opened some WAY overpriced souvenir stands.

After buying my kids a $12 frozen ice drink in the shape of Nemo and Bruce the show started again.

They then introduced the Mouse that started it all, with the sound "Who's the Leader of the Club" playing.

Have you guess who that leader was?

Why it's Mickey Mouse

Next a cricket came out - he's know as "the Conscience", but you could call him Jiminy.

DisneyOnIce274640x480.jpg

And a Blue Fairy was next, all to watch over a little boy.

DisneyOnIce286640x480.jpg

Well this boy fell into the wrong hands while his conscience wasn't watching.

And instead of being truthful, he told a lie that was as plain as the nose on his face.

Well then he and his creator ;) were eaten by a whale (like our friends Dory and Marlin earlier). Don't worry though, everything worked out in the end.

Next a friendly alien with chili breath came out and took us to China.

There we met a young girl who joined the army, to defeat the huns, to bring honour back to the family.

It was really INCREDIBLE!

But what was more Incredible was what came next.

And finally it was off to the Jungle - where we saw to care free animals with their friends.

Hakuna Matata (Oh, for those of you that don't speak African meerkat - that means No Worries)

Great pics! We were at the 12 noon show today, it was awesome! My daughter was not impressed though, there weren't any Lion King souvenirs...
