Disney now loading OKW & SSR for 2013

Great news.

Disney is now loading OKW & SSR for most of 2013.

Example of 14 days in a studio at OKW or SSR.

Depart: 1st August 2013 and Return 15th August 2013 for £2,268.00

Depart: 1st November 2013 and Return 15th November 2013 for £2,156.00


Example of 14 days in a 1-bed at OKW or SSR.

Depart: 1st November 2013 and Return 15th November 2013 for £2,912.00

Just got a quote to compare with what we have this year.
21 nights OKW with DDP & 3 x 21 day tix.
This year paid £3,285 with Complete Orlando

Same 21 nights next year £4,254 (plus $200 giftcard)

Even taking into account the giftcard and 3% cashback its too high for us.

After all discounts it works out at £142/nt for room & food compared to the £118 paid this year. £24/nt is not a massive amount but comparing to offsite that costs us less than £90/nt for room & food its not worth a premium of £50+/nt to stay onsite(plus higher tips onsite)

I will see what offers are available after we return in August, one option is 1 week onsite then 2-3 weeks offsite. Not dissapointed really as it will give us the kick we needed to go back offsite and enjoy the retaurants we have been missing.

Is it because the discount on OKW/SSR is 35% for 2013, whereas before it was 42%? Seems like quite a hike in price.
