Been to Disney many times but not in awhile, taking kids for first time and some family memebers. Celebrating our anniversary and dad's BDay.

I've already sent some goodies to the rooms, in-room celebrations, gift snack bags.

What can I REALLY do now??? If there was a site with have barbershop quartette serande us as we arrive I would add it to the shopping cart. Please help me make Disney richer :) At club level if that helps. Looking for some info

I would call Disney weddings or Disney events and tell them what kind of things you're thinking about (barbershop quartet serenading as you arrive) and what your budget is and go from there.

There are entire departments at Disney that are designed to help "high rollers" make their dreams come true.

I know you're not getting married, but Disney weddings can be a good place to start as a bridge to other events.

And Disney will love to help you do it! I'd also try calling now and talking to the concierge at your Resort. Tell them about your trip, your party, your interests, and then ask them to brainstorm. Schedule a follow up call with them the following week so that they can present you with different options and you can then make your selections.

Congrats and have a wonderful time!

I was also going to say VIP tour guide. It runs about $2000 plus tip for the minimum 6 hours, but it is a nice way to tour. They pick you up from your resort in a private car, take you to the back entry of the parks, you're allowed to enter all rides in the FP lane, you have priority seating for shows and parades etc. for some rides that don't have FP you can enter into the back door, for example Tinkerbell's Nook they took us in the exit, skipping the 40 minute long line. You can park hop (but need the hopper option on your tickets), they drive you between parks. The reserved seating for parades was nice, it was in an area occupied by no one else, so my kids got lots of VIP attention from the characters in the parades.

You can work with Disney Private Events to plan anything your heart desires. From character appearances to private in park events they can make it happen. You must be staying at a Disney resort to utilize their services. They can be reached at: 321-939-7278.

Also as previous poster mentioned a Premium Vip Tour Guide is a nice service for the impatient members of your group. My DH does not tolerate a lot of waiting and moving through huge crowds so the transportation through the back entrances and FP flexibility of the tour guide make this a must when he travels with us.

If you're staying at the club level, call the special number they gave you for the club level concierge and ask them to help you. They're there to help and will have lots of ideas.

Rent the park out :rotfl:

Ok, realistic options

1) VIP tour guide
2) MYW platinum package- and take advantage of those tours and opportunities!

How about just going and having a good time. Disney is a wonderful vacation, even without that kind of stuff.

Isnt everything, including Disney, what you add? I wouldn't tell a child not to dress up like Cinderella because going in her normal clothes is just the natural way to enjoy it.

Every one who goes to Disney customizes their trip with personal options, you're no different. If that wasn't true there would be one hotel with one meal option.

thanks for the posts

I think your trip would be even more magical if you took ME with you

I promise that I would sing to you all frequently with every Disney song I know (and if you ask my family it's a WHOLE lot of them...)

I'll laugh at all your jokes (even the ones that weren't funny) and tell a few of my own (I make no promises that they'll be funny, chances are they won't)

Think about it...what could be better???

Do the VIP tour - get on rides without waiting and no FP and the guide will tell you pretty much anything you want to know about the parks.

To add.. there's things like boat rental, surfing school, fishing excursions, golf lessons with a pro, etc.. that you may not be aware of.

I fished the 7 seas lagoon one year, even if you just enjoy some casual fishing this was a lot of fun and an experience I will never forget.

And there's really big nice yachts too that go on the 7 seas lagoon and Cresent Lake. You can have a whole little catered party. Fireworks viewing too.

Note.. I used to be an itinerary planner. Your "type" was all I did all day when I worked for Disney :P

We did a private Epcot Illuminations dessert party. Rented the smallest pavillion (UK Pubside - behind the fish shop), and had 7 people with the following: Asti sparkling wine, baked brie, apples, grapes, figs (I think), assorted bread/crackers, tuxedo strawberries, caramel ganache bars with sea salt, peanut butter chocolate marshmallow squares, fruit tarts, creme brulee, fruit punch, water, tea, coffee, a personal server, and a Rum Cake all for under $600.

The rum cake, wine, brie and fruit were add-ons. If we only had the desserts and beverages, it would have been $38 per person +$150 venue rental. Oh, then add a tip for the server of course. I think we tipped ours $30 for the hour. It was awesome, and so reasonable really that we are thinking of doing it whenever we have the whole family down there together, which isn't very often.

And it was a hoot sharing all our leftovers on the plane. Disney rum cake makes for a very amusing plane ride home.

I've known two families that did the VIP tour and loved it. We did a private Illuminations party for just our family for my bday one year and it was incredible.
