Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Bus Stop Temporarily Relocated Due to Maintenance​

Guests currently staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa should be aware that the resort's bus stop will be temporarily relocated to the porte cochère (located in front of the main building) from April 27-29 due to routine maintenance taking place near the permanent bus stop. The bus stop is currently expected to reopen on April 30.

Directional signs will guide Guests to the temporary Disney Transportation bus stop.

Fourth of July Fireworks Appear to be Returning to Disney World in 2022

As we look ahead towards summer, Disney World may have tipped off their plans to bring back Fourth of July fireworks this year after not having them since 2019 due to COVID-19.

Recently, we were looking at the theme park schedules for early July and noticed that Disney Enchantment isn’t scheduled to run on July 3rd and 4th. Typically, Magic Kingdom has the “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks on July 3rd and 4th in lieu of the typical nightly fireworks show.

Here’s a look at the early July entertainment schedule for Magic Kingdom:




Disney has not formally announced the return of the Fourth of July fireworks yet, but we assume that the “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks show will fill in the blank space on the schedule above.

American Idol Returns to Disneyland​

This Sunday, “American Idol” contestants will take on fan-favorite Disney hits in hopes of making it to the next round of the competition. It all kicks off as Disneyland Resort celebrates the return of the nighttime spectaculars, including the 50th anniversary of the Main Street Electrical Parade and Disneyland Forever Fireworks at Disneyland Park, plus World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park.

The iconic ‘Disney Night’ tradition continues as “American Idol” returns for a magical night of pixie dust-powered performances and surprise guests live on the Idol stage. Award-winning actor and singer Ben Platt will mentor the remaining contestants from the Disneyland Resort in California as they prepare to perform beloved Disney tunes in hopes of securing America’s vote. “American Idol” airs LIVE SUNDAY, MAY 1 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Disney World has sent out a tweet teasing the arrival of MagicBand+ “later this year”. In the photo, we can see a Star Wars-themed MaigicBand+. Disney has previously teased that guests can “become a bounty hunter”:

Installation of MagicBand+ Interactive Elements Begins in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

As you can see in our photos below, construction walls are up and installation has begun on what we can only assume will be interactive MagicBand+ elements within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here’s a look at the construction, which is taking place near the landspeeder garage.

Good Morning Everyone!!! Happy Thursday!!

Surprise!! I’m doing my Friday dance on a Thursday, in anticipation of some big Halloween news today!!! I thought it would be fun to make some predictions, as well as ask the News Gods for MNSSHP to come back in full effect!!!! Let’s get right to it!!!





Ok, well, not really… but in Disney-terms, it is “Halfway to Halloween!” so, close enough!! First off, I have a good feeling about today’s Halloween Announcements! I mean, they already mentioned we can wear costumes this year, which has me stoked! My family and I are prepared to turn up!!!




I’m confident they’ll serve up some Party Exclusive, mouth watering, finger lickin’ good snacks just for the event!!




As far as predictions go, I feel a lot of people were truly disappointed with the loss of the Luau at Poly, so I’m sure they’ll throw the show in somewhere in the nightly entertainment lineup.




…Along with new, elaborate floats for the parade!




I bet they’ll even add new characters for meet and greets… which no doubt will include hugs!!! Aaawwww!!




My Spidey-senses also tell me there will be an all new exclusive Halloween party fireworks show as well!!!




And above all else, I have a really good feeling Disney is going to go all out and up their Candy game this year!!! No expense spared!




On top of it all, I have a good feeling everyone’s favorite clown will be back handing out Mickey balloons to all the kids!!!!!!




News Gods, if you’re listening, we’d really appreciate whatever you can do to give us a full MNSSHP back!!! I’m not ashamed to beg or throw out this wickedly spooky cool dance move for you!!!

Din Tai Fung Coming to Downtown Disney, Reimagining Announced for UVA Bar and Catal

As part of a presentation this evening, Disney has announced that the world-renowned Tin Tai Fung Chinese restaurant will be coming to Downtown Disney as the anchor for a West End expansion. In addition, Disney announced a reimagining of UVA Bar and Catal. The reimagining will see the locations renamed Centrico and Paseo. They will be gourmet, Mexican-inspired dining locations. They will be helmed by Chef Carlos Gaytán.

Pixar Overhaul Announced for Paradise Pier Hotel, Dedicated Entrance “Portal” to Disney California Adventure Planned

In a presentation this evening, Disneyland officials announced a Pixar overhaul for the Paradise Pier Hotel at the Disneyland Resort. With the overlay, the hotel will also get its own dedicated “portal” to Disney California Adventure.

The theme will not be limited to any single Pixar franchise, but will instead celebrate a variety of franchises. The artistry of Pixar will fully encompass the rooms, lobby, and restaurants. The first thing that guests will experience when walking into the lobby will be the iconic Pixar Luxo Ball and Lamp.

Disney is expected to share more details and concept art for the hotel shortly!
