Why do you think the Disney movies and popular things from the movies are not in the dictionary?

Like "Peter Pan" or "Mermaid Lagoon" or "Tron Light Cycles".

When I first registered, I tried to name my character ScatCat (from the Aristocats) - but was denied by the dictionary. Yes, I know why. No, I won't explain if you don't get it.

Well, Peter Pan would not be in there because then you could say Peter - and that is a boy's name, but as for the others, my guess is they tried to program as many as they thought of and there aer just too many characters to have captured all the names. Just a guess...

It seems to me that the key to VMK is the prized Disney trademarks we all love. That form may come as an experience in one of the parks or when viewing a movie etc., but leaving them out seems to leave a major hole.

For example giving us skull rock rooms, but not being able to reference Tiger Lilly, Hook, or Peter Pan. The marketing side of me screams foul, and the Disney fan side of me is really frustrated.

Peter I can understand, but why not "Pan" or "Hook"?
I am just looking for the logic. I know its there, I just don't completely see it yet.
Have they reformed the dictionary at all over the past year or so?

Yes. It can be frustrating when talking about Disney movies and characters.

But, they have taken out and added words to the dictionary several times since I've been playing. And I started in September.

I remember when I started playing, I could not say "Sleeping Beauty".

If you go to the home page and click on Contact Us as the bottom, you can sign in. After you sign in, you get asked "whyare you asking for help?". You can then choose "I want to suggest a word for the VMK dictionary".

I would also try to briefly explain why you think it should be added. :)

I didn't know that they had changed the dictionary or even took recommendations. Has anyone had any responses from the customer services there? I was like, WOW. (like gag me with a spoon);)

I am still puzzled. I would have thought it to be a major priority to get all the Disney trademarks into the dictionary. Its a standard practice to propagate (sp?) branding this way. Very Puzzled.

Plus I want to use TRON and PAN really bad. :) (I understand I will never be able to make my World Showcase, total bummer):Pinkbounc

Yes... but we can say "Donald" Duck, "Davey" Crockett, Little "John", "Tom" Sawyer, "Phillip" and a few others... all first names of boys.
