Is anyone else concerned that they might be phasing out Disney Movie Rewards :confused3 I've just entered some points and checked out the rewards available - very underwhelming! They used to have some good stuff available, but now... they just seem to be using up the stuff they have and not adding anything new. I'll be disappointed if it keeps going downhill or phases out altogether because us Aussies (and Kiwis) get so few opportunities to be part of something Disney!

I only signed up late last year when I bought a whole bunch of Disney dvds on sale from Target. I have a grand total of 1000 points so nothing too flash but what sort of rewards did they used to have? I find it a bit silly that they have colouring pages etc that you have to print yourself available when you could just find them online, though I guess some of the snapfish things are worth it. But I agree, after just having a look there are very few items anyway, especially in the 1000+ points categories. How disappointing.

They used to have plush toys, kids jewellery, kids colouring books/sets (with the 3 books and pencils) For awhile some lesser know DVD titles were also able to be purchased for points.

Yeah they used to have all sorts of stuff! The DVDs were great, and they had some good story books too. And of course the plushes, toys, games and a few random items too. 1000 points used to get you some good stuff! And I agree about the colouring pages etc - don't know why they bother with them.

I've gotten a few movie posters for my home theater. I'm glad to see that they continue to add new ones right now they have Monsters Inc 3D and OZ. I have a couple of frames that fit these posters perfectly and it's nice to switch them out once in a while.

I don't see any posters :confused3 Are you talking about the Australian Disney rewards program?

Havent used the rewards page in ages but recently took advantage of the buy one get one free sale of Disney Jr dvds, 100 points per dvd, and was dissapointed when I looked through the 'rewards' they now have on the website. I remember they used to have lots of great items, now there is mainly a lot of downloadable things. Not really worth it :(

We bought Aladdin on the weekend and there was not voucher inside. Not sure if it is because we purchased from JBHiFi instead of another retailer - but it was a bit strange.

It should still be in there, no matter where you bought it. We have definitely bought ones with points from JB

I'm in Canada but I believe that we order from the US site. I just checked and they have the official movie posters for Monsters INC, as well as the Iron Man 3 and Loan Ranger teaser posters. They also have a bus shelter sized John Carter poster. Try doing a search for poster in the seach bar. Hope this helps.

This is a conversation about the Australian rewards program. Unfortunately the proper US one is for residents of US and Canada only :rolleyes2

I went back to Big W yesterday and bought a couple of 'Jake and the Neverland Pirates' in the buy 1 get 1 free sale and neither of them had codes :( Only a few days earlier I bought Mickey's ClubHouse dvds under the same promotion and they each had codes. Very strange.

The ones that have codes inside will have a very small clear sticker on the front case somewhere with the rewards code logo.

I noticed a few weeks ago you can use points to buy DVDs now, 450-900 points plus postage depending on the film, but most of the lower end ones equate to $10-$15 films at the shops.

Just logged in to add a few more points and saw this!!!

Hope it is something more like the USA rewards, but I'm not holding my breath.

That's a shame you can't transfer points to the soon-to-be new program

I received an email about the program closing - I went and swapped all my points (about 3000) for the Blu Ray and DvD tokens. So if you have points go and see if you can swap for the tokens.

We had been saving up our points for some time now and just got 4 Blu Rays - Monsters Inc, Brave, Wreck It Ralph and Frankenweenie for just $7.20 postage! And they arrived within a week:thumbsup2:cool1:
