Disney money? How/where do you get it?

I remember this being posted eons ago but I can't remember what it said!

Thought I'd give the kids some disney money for their trip to get their souvenirs......

You can get them at any Disney Store.

You can also buy it at City Hall, World of Disney and the Emporium at the park if you did not need it in advance. I think the hotels sell it too,but not sure where.

they usually give change back in real money, but I think if you ask they will give it back to you in disney dollars if they have them

I always got change back in real money.

If you keep the reciept you can get the Disney Dollars switched back to real money at the end of your trip if you don't end up using all of them.

we got ours last trip at DLH, the lady was nice enough not to give my son any princess money! He loved having special money to spend.
