Hello,

I am planning a trip for my son`s second birthday in March 2010...

:tink:I am slightly anxious as I do not know what to expect..will I get lonely, will he be enjoying any of the activities (what kind of activities can we do), what to expect..ect. This is my first child so I do not know how 2 year olds are. I know this may sound a bit silly but I really do not know what to expect

I am also wondering if it would be worth it to get DDP, or better to buy at garden grocer..we are planning to stay in a Studuo at AKV for at least a week (maybe 10 days)

Thanks to anyone who can help:tinker:

YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST!

Last August, my DD (almost 2) and I went by ourselves for 8 days. I have never ever had so much fun. I took everything slowly, made sure we didn't get tired. The best part, because she was so little, we did everything I wanted to do, or that I thought she would enjoy.

We are playing a girls only trip again this August, hopefully a few days longer.

A few of your questions:
Will you get lonely? I didn't until the very end. I always talk to my DD as if she is an adult and holding full conversations with me, so I was always talking. Also, you meet so many people to talk to.

What activities? MOST of the stuff at Disney you can do with your son. Favorites of my DDs, besides the parks: the pool, playground.

One thing I would recommend is Photopass. It was SO much easier to get your pictures taken. Also, everytime I saw a photographer, I asked them to take a ton of just her playing. I had almost 500 when we went home.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

I really appreciate you taking the time to respond:goodvibes I'm a bit less anxious about the trip:yay: In fact, I am really looking forward to it;)

I started doing mommy and me trips to WDW with my DD when she was 16 months. by 18 months she could point and say Buzz (in the right direction for Buzz Lightyaer ride from main street) :0) We continued every year on mommy and me trips until her brother arrived last year. You will love them. Precious memories!
