Disney Mix Stick MP3 player help!!!!

I got DD a mix stick when it was on Woot last week. Got it and decided santa would put some music on it before he puts it in her stocking. Well Santa is stumped!!! I have a Mac, so can't install the software that comes with it. DD has a netbook that dosen't have a disk drive so can't install it on there either. I am getting a little frustrated.
Should I just forget it and buy some mix clips for her to play in it instead of trying to download music onto it?

That's what we did bought the clips, that thing is the hardest to fiqure out. There were extensive and very complicated instructions someone posted here, but they were of no help at all. Good luck, we still have the mix stick and mix max both were useless.

Thanks. I was all ready to buy the sticks on amazon and thought I'd try one more thing. Managed to install everything on DDs netbook and got 1 song on the mix stick already - only took me 2 hrs to figure it out I'm putting The Hannah Montana soundtrack on there and a few other songs for her and then i'm done with it for a while LOL

Now ... have to figure out how to turn it off?!

You don't need the software that comes wiht it. I never use it that way. Just plug it into the computer and use your music player to put music on it or even open it as a file and copy music to it. I just plug it into the USB and Windows Media player sees it and opens to load it up. You can do the same thing to load SD cards to play on it. I ignored all software and just used it as a generic MP3 player. Same thing wiht the Mix Max, just hook it up and go. To move movies over there is a great converter and it saves the movie in the correct file to your computer then you just load them up to the SD and you are good to go.
