Disney Mine Train

We are heading to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow. We have a fast pass for the mine train ride at 700PM but we have had long days and aren't sure we want to be there that long. If we get there at rope drop and head straight back to the Mine Train, is it likely the wait won't be too bad? Additionally where would be the best place to line up?

1. Yup.

2. If you are asking where to stand to await the park to open (rope drop,)
you want to be as close to a tunnel (either the left or right tunnel) going under the RR station as you can.
On the top map below, you would be as far to the left or the right of the cyan-shaded area.

Then, once you've gotten through one of the tunnels and are on Main Street,
keep heading down Main Street until you reach the Hub.
Then, bear right at the Hub and cross the second bridge (heading toward the Teacups Ride.)
Then, swing left as you approach the Teacups and head toward the entrance of the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train.

I still like spending the evenings in the park later than sweating all day in the heat. The parks come alive at night. RP is still likely to be 45 min or longer, or you might decide its such a short ride, you want a reride @ 7! Don't ditch that precious FP! Sunset time is my favorite time at MK and its much nicer to ride at night. And if you want it a little zippier, ask for the back.

Be at Magic Kingdom by 8:15 AM.

Go STRAIGHT to the Right Tunnel and STAY THERE.

After Magic Kingdom Welcome stay as close to the "escort CMs" as possible down Main Street USA,past Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland and on past the tea Cups in Fantasyland.

If you do this,you will have a very short wait at SDMT.
