Can you please make suggestions on places to eat at Disney-MGM, and maybe anything to stay away from?

The 50's Primetime Cafe is a must-dine place at MGM on every trip. Have always had excellent food and service there.

Tried Sci-Fi a few times and found it just ok food wise. It's cute to be sitting in the cars watching the old movies, but found the burger and fries just ok.

We ate at Mama Melrose last year with the Fantasmic! Dinner Package and we loved it there. the food was really good.

We seem to eat at Mama Melrose's every trip. We have always had good food there. We usually go at lunch time.
We have also eaten quite a few times at 50's. Some in our group have not liked the food.
Last trip we ate at Scfi and found food to be okay but nothing to rave about.
We are trying the new Playhouse Disney character breakfast Hollywood and Vine this coming trip. Hoping it will be good.

Our favorites are Sci Fi, Mama Melrose & Prime time.

The last time we ate at the Brown Derby the food was very mediocre for the price.

We love the atmosphere at the Sci Fi and Prime Time. We have always had excellent meals at Mama Melrose too! The Onion rings at Sci Fi are awesome!

We love Sci-Fi, it's a "must do" for our DS on every trip. We go for the atmosphere, and order simple food, like a burger, and it's always good. We also love Prime Time - great food and atmosphere too!

As far as CS - we really liked Pizza Planet. I know it gets a bad rap sometimes, but we thought it was pretty good pizza. Not great, by any means, but pretty good. Just dont get the veggie pizza - mine was waterlogged ewww - but they traded me for a cheese no problem!

We do 50s Prime Time every holiday!! Food is very good and the atmosphere is great, we always have a good laugh the whole dinner! It really is lots of fun.

Sci Fi is a must do for us, but we go for the atmosphere and not so much for the food (it's just ok).

Prime Time is another favorite, and their food is much better. The only drawback for me is that sometimes I'm not in the mood for their gags.

We loved the Brown Derby!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go back there again. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were spectacular.

Also enjoyed Sci-Fi drive inn......the atmosphere is better than the food though. But my kids loved the food, go figure.

We loved the 50's Prime Time. Food was very good. My DD loved the fried chicken, she is still talking about how great it was. Just remember, keep your elbows off the table and eat your vegetables. My kids also liked the Sci-Fi, and the food was good.

The Prime Time is our favorite restaurant in MGM. The food is good and love the interaction with your waiter. Can't wait to try the new character meal at Hollywood & Vine.
