Disney Meets??

Hi

As you know, Angel659 and I are trying to arrange a DIS meet in London (Planet Hollywood and pubs after).

We proposed May 13th originally but so far we only have about 8 people.

What's the normal # for a good DIS Meet?

We were wondering whether to move the meet to another day so that more people can make it.

If we moved it, would anyone else be interested in coming, and if so, what dates can people do?

Then, once I have an idea of numbers and dates, I will pick the date when most people can come.

Come on peeps, it will be fun....

sometimes a small meet can be great fun, i personally would find it easier to relate to a small group
im sure you will have fun whenever you meet good luck

Karen we wouldn't be able to make a London Meet But it doesn't matter how many people you have for a DIS meet, the more the merrier but you will be fine with just 8.

Having organised 5 DIS Meets I can tell you that the numbers can vary enormously. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I've found that the best thing to do is to set a date and leave it. If people can make it, great. If not, well there's always the next one.

From experience you will also find that lots of people will express an interest initially and then drop out nearer the time. This is not meant as a criticism, I realise that plans and circumstances change.

As Natalie says, small meets can be just as much fun. You get more chance to talk to people as a group.
Just go with the flow and enjoy it.

We started off with about 20+ interested in the Swindon area one but now there are only about 14 of us. Still likely to be a good day though and easier to chat/get to know each other in a small group

If I was going to be back on mainland UK by then, I would have been interested but we don't move back until the summer. Maybe next time

Have a lovely time, like others have said, you don't want too many otherwise you won't get a word in edgeways. Love to come but I fly out to the Magical World on the 13th, I can't wait.

The 13th sounds great to me. I cant wait will be fun.

Sorry for the late reply I have only just got up after working last night and I will be in work again tonight.

What I will do is phone PH on Monday and see if people can pay thier own deposits and when it needs to be paid and booked. Have I forgotten anything Feels like I have?

I think 8 or 9 is a good number to have- agree with the previous comments, people may feel more comfortable in a smaller group....I think we'll have a great time and I'm really looking forward to it, can't wait!
