I was just wondering if anyone had been on any of the Disney med cruises and could offer up any info, recommendations etc.

It's - hopefully - going to be my first Disney cruise...and the last cruise I went on was only for a weekend and I was 7 :confused3

I've been rattling my brain trying to think of an alternative to WDW that'll keep me occupied (I can't stand just lying on a beach etc, especially as I have OCD) and this seems like the perfect option!

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

Well I have done two DCL cruises but neither were in the med. We love DCL and we are booked on the 8 night Dover to Barcelona cruise at the end of July.

I would definitely say give it a try. Of course there are no rides but the shows, entertainment and importantly the staff and service are great just like at WDW.

Pop over ot the cruise board, you could read some trip reports and get a feel for the cruises. The 10 and 11 night Med cruises are very Port intensive and I know a few people say why papy a premium to sail with Disney when you are in port for so long for most days - but then I guess the majority of DCL cruisers are from the USA and therefore would perhaps be making a big trip to Europe trying to fit in seeing ALL the major landmarks. Living in the UK I know for example that it wont be my once in a lifetime chance to see the ports so I wouldn't schedule all day excursions in every port.
