??? disney meal plans

okay Disney Diva, we are getting ready to order tickets want to get them before they go up in price. Do the prices go up a great deal.

So when looking at the Costco sight last night I noticed a meal plan, is it smarter to do the meal plans or just eat on our own. There are four of us to feed, myself, Jeff (husband), Kate (4 years old), Keith (2 years old).

Consenus us that it is not a value. You get vouchers for the dollar amounts. If your meal is more than the voucher, you pay the difference. If the meal is $9 and the voucher is $10, you DONT get change.

We've never used it because after reading it just doesn't make sense. I'd rather not waste my money so we skip the dining plan at DL. I wish they'd make it more like the WDW dining plan, that seems to be a really great value!

Lots of posters here suggest getting Disney gift cards and use those instead.Also, get Disney Dollars and use those for the kioks that do not accept cards.

With so many off site restaurants available, it makes more sense not do the dining plan honestly.
