Decided to take my kids (9,9,14)to Disney and get a little exercise, as though walking around isn't enough.

Will be doing the 1/2 marathon with my 14yo daughter and have some questions:
(considered the full but want to spend some time in the Parks with my kids and she's not allowed until she's 18)

- How crowed are the parks that weekend?
- Is the course pretty flat?
- Are most of the races done before the parks open ( since we run through the parks), I know we start early?
- Arriving Friday morning leaving Sunday evening. Will need to do packet pickup FRIday at ESPN and race Saturday morning. What's the best way to see some of the big attractions in all 4 parks in that time?
- We've been to WDW before years ago when 9 y olds were too small for some rides but now want to hit all the coasters (EE, TT, RnR, ), would like to see stuff new to us (FOP, Nali, 7 dwarves, Frozen, and I guess Toy story land...though it seems a bit on the younger set side besides TSM.

Will do my best to run fast (I know someones going to say that!) to maximize park time at least Saturday but my 14yo will still leave me in the dust!

Have a great time! I also started running Disney half marathons with my child (son) when he was 14--it's a great parent/child bonding experience!
Since it sounds like you and your daughter are both fast runners, I would STRONGLY encourage you both to submit a proof of time for corral placement. Each of you should submit your very best proof of time, and if you get placed in separate corrals but want to run together, whoever is in the more forward corral can move back to the other's corral.

The course is very flat, the only real "hills" are the onramps you go up.

Good luck!
