How do you find this service as it appears the laughinghouse is not the place to buy things?:confused3

There's a number you can call- I don't have it with me at the moment- but it's a lot better then The Laughing Place. I look for items on Laughing Place then call Disney Mail Order and ask them about it.

I recieved two posters from them (well I called the Art of Disney store at Downtown Disney and they mailed it to me- I also had to call them directly to get my disount)

But my mom's recieved some stuff from Mail Order and just had to pay normal price plus shipping

Can someone please post some info on what disney mail order is and how to use it? I'd really like to buy a few things from the parks if possible - ebay is a ripoff! Also, do they ship worldwide? Many thanks!

I have been looking for that information too! Laughing house is outragous with pricing and shipping!

the phone number is 407-363-6200. Call and then ask if they have the item(s) that you are loking for. They'll ask you to describe it and then try to look it up in their computer. if they find it and it's available for mail order, they will tell you the price and how much for shipping. shipping is determined by the price of the item. Pretty much the same as Disney Shopping( $0-10 is $5.00, $10-25 is 9.95 so something like that). So sometimes it doesn't hurt to throw in some smaller priced items as well to take advantage of the flat rate shipping.

The number is 407-363-6200. I always save a receipt from Disney and keep it in my wallet just in case. :)

I ordered from them once and had no problem.

This is going to sound weird, but I much rather buy "authentic" Disney World merchandise than the stuff you can buy at the Disney Store or at disneystore.com. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling:) I understand the concept of calling the merchandise number, but doesn't that pretty much only work with something you've actually seen at WDW? Also, is it just me, or is the selection at disneystore.com and the actual Disney Stores not as good as it used to be?

Its not, and its because Disney sold their stores to The Children's Place! I had worked for the Store in 98-99 And just LOVED it. It felt like you were working for the parks ( although I had never worked in WDW) And you got great discounts at the parks for being a cast memeber.
I went back to work for TDS last christmas after they had sold. I HATED it. Not fun anymore, and no more park discounts. :(

Try surfing ebay. Some of the sellers that do the samething as the laughingplace have stores. Put Disney World into your search. I go through there just to get ideas of what's available and then I'll call the merchandise number and order through WDW. This way I'm able to discribe what it is that I'm trying to order.

This is a great service! I love to call down and order from them. I usually do it in time for the holidays. Sometimes, I just give them an attraction or a character to look up to find things because I can never remember what I have seen in the parks. One time, the guy who was helping me with the order spent two hours looking things up for me. He was awesome! :thumbsup2 Now, I just tried about half an hour ago and got a girl who knew nothing. I actually had specific items I was looking for, but she couldn't find any. It was really weird. I don't think she knew much about Disney either...I mentioned Pirates of the Caribbean and the redhead...but she didn't know who the redhead was. Color me shocked!:scared1: She was nice though, just didn't seem like she wanted to help some crazy chick in PA.:upsidedow

I am so excited someone posted this message. I had no idea you could do this, and there is a picture frame I want to order but on laughing place it is 70 dollars, and it was only about 35 in the parks.
I read about getting a discount, what kind of discount are you all getting?

I haven't done it before, but I'm going to order today. We forgot to p/u our usual WDW calendar for the new year while we were there a few months ago! I'm freakin out cuz this is the last month of our current calendar!

This will fix it! hehe
